Child Training                          - £3.50

Where there are 2 attending adults and a younger child that needs supervision, you my only be charged for 1 adult and one child.  It depends on how much actual training your able to have.  Basically, we try to make it fair and try to ensure everyone gets a turn without having to pay too much.  You will be informed on attendance if this is the case.

Please BOOK IN prior to attending by calling or emailing.

We piloted an idea that I had that can introduce my daughter and other young people to our club and in turn prevent me from having to spend any extra time away from her than I'd like. As a thaiboxing instructor, a lot of our classes run in the evening so introducing another evening class would mean more time away from my family which isn't what I wanted.

Therefore, we trialed 'Family Muaythai' on Tuesday nights 5.30pm until 6.30pm. The trial was a great success which means Redkite can offer you the opportunity for you to train with your children, older siblings or guardians whilst promoting exercise and self defence to family groups.

The age group for children is 2.5 to 15 years old. They must be accompanied by someone aged 18 or over. Parental consent must be given for each child to train. A form must be filled out and signed by the parent (even if they're not the one attending with the child) and the child's birth certificate must be provided along with the adults ID so I can ensure that the parents are aware that the child is participating.

If the parent or guardian isn't the one training with the child, they must attend the first session and provide the relevant documents and authority along with the names and relationship of the persons intending to bring the child/children.

My daughter is 3 years old. Learning capacity is limited. What I can do is introduce her to the idea. Parents bringing children below the age of 4 (this may vary per child) must be in charge of the safety of the younger child. If there is a younger child and an older child attending, there must be 2 responsible adults in attendance (though if this is not feasible, please get in touch to discuss). If a family has a number of children, depending on their age, one adult may suffice. Please inbox me to clarify.

The parents/guardians will train with their children and each other and the children will train with their parents and with other children where possible. I hope to create a relaxed and fun though disciplined training environment whilst implementing the strict rules necessary to keep people safe.

If you intend to attend a class, please book a place in advance (by the Monday evening prior). This way I can identify the ages of the students and thereby design a class that will suit.

We also run a Tiddlers session for the under 6's on a Saturday morning.

I hope that's all clear enough and I really hope people fancy trying it out. Please don't hesitate to message me or get in touch with any questions.
